Project Management from start to finish
Cranborne were contracted by longstanding client, Retirement Villages Group, to undertake and project-manage a large-scale installation, delivering essential IT and telecom services for a brand new retirement community holding more than 70 apartments and cottages.
Challenge
Brought in three months prior to construction commencing, Cranborne Tech were a core part of the project management function, working in collaboration with later living and care development specialists, Castleoak and several other service providers (architects, council planning teams, electricians etc.) to plan, organise and execute the installation from concept to completion.
Value
Given the scale of the project, Cranborne also brought in a team of 12 in-house engineers and telecom experts to support timely execution of the project. BT lines, wireless access points and Nurse Call systems such as emergency pull codes, emergency pendants for residents and Co2 detectors were installed throughout the village.
Cranborne Tech are now working on supporting the Retirement Villages Group in construction and service planning for its second retirement village, due for completion in 2022.
